Victory! Congratulations and Goodbye, Sweet Dog.

Yesterday evening Warby's new family came to Madison to pick him up. What a lucky dog--they are an all-American dream family! And what a lucky family (of course) for this precious fluffball. They agreed Warbucks is a mouthful, so he might be going by "Bucky" or "Teddy" pretty soon.

Their terrier Cooper (15 years old) passed away earlier this year so they're happy to have a little canine back in the family.

He'll have 3 new human siblings, a lovely mom & dad, and clearly a lot of love and attention. More belly rubs are coming down the pike...

What a sweet post Anna. Thank you. It was so nice to meet you both last night. What amazing foster parents you have been. Thanks to you and Fluffy Dog Rescue, we have a new love in our lives. My sister said she's sure Cooper guided us to him. xoxo

Hi, I'm Warby! Adopt Me!

Hi! I’m Warby—the sweetest dog in town. I have great bathroom manners, and shed almost nothing so I’m considered a true gentleman.

I’m a smart pup whose recall is impressive and I aim to please my human companions.

Habits: I’m not much of a barker and can stay home without chewing things, barking, or having accidents. Even though I love walks and playing, nobody would call me hyper--I’m a quiet, laid back boy.

Affection: I’m a glutton for belly rubs—if you invite me up on the couch I will snuggle and roll over so you can scratch my belly. Surprisingly, I don’t lick people and would rather sit on your lap than be picked up. My foster mom gets in my face to kiss my head and I smile up at her, but much to her dismay, my tongue has never given a kiss! If you don’t like slobber, then we should hang out.

Sleeping: If sleeping in the bed was allowed, I would be all over it, but instead I go to my dog bed and stay quietly the whole night.

Other dogs: I love playing with other dogs—I want to meet every dog no matter the size or age. I even won over a cranky aggressive terrier that my foster mom’s family has in MN, we became playmates and wrestled in the grass all weekend. It would be great to have some other dogs to play with!
